Julie Corbier de Lara

Owner of One Last Bite LLC.

I am a self trained pastry chef who has been working in commercial restaurants and pastry shops since 1993.  I also have a degree in painting and drawing from the Chicago Art Institue. I fell in love with preserving fruit after making my first jars of apricot preserves.  Having laid down my paintbrushes when I had children, preserving fruit satisfied my urge to transform and create, using the color, texture and flavor of fruit as my new medium.
