Soft Fig Cookies

For those soft cookie lovers, this is one that is soft and not too sweet. We combine figs with orange, cinnamon and almonds with a bit of raw sugar sprinkled on top for crunch.  
These are “ brutti ma buoni ” ugly but delicious. 
Due to the high percentage of figs in the recipe and their expense, as well as the labor required, these cookies are more expensive than the biscotti.  You will receive 1 lb of cookies.
